About Us

Welcome to Laughing Dove Labradoodles!

We are David and Stacy – the heart behind Laughing Dove Labradoodles. We are a small, in-home breeder of Multigenerational Australian Labradoodles in the Charleston area of South Carolina. Our journey started in 2015 when we began our search for a non-shedding, hypoallergenic, odor-free companion; that’s when we found our first pup, Livie. We would not be here today if it wasn’t for her! She has absolutely transformed our lives. We have had a few dogs over the years, but nothing has compared to our Australian Labradoodles. They are so much more than a pet! They are the emotional support, they are family.  Our dogs live in our home, sleep in our bedroom, love riding in the car, going out for coffee, visiting the local farmer’s market and more. We have a tremendous love for the Multigenerational Australian Labradoodle and want to share that love with others by helping you get a perfect addition for your family’s needs!

We Only Breed Multigenerational Australian Labradoodles (mALD) – We are members of ALAA (Australian Labradoodle Association of America). This is important because we want accountability, and we strive to have our dogs held at the highest possible standard.

Testing – Our breeding dogs are genetic & physically tested to ensure we provide adopting families with a happy and healthy dog. We take time and resources to utilize the expertise of organizations like pawprintgenetics.com, OFA – PennHIP. DNA profiles are completed for each dog to have a unique identifier, in addition to DM, EIC, HNPK, PRA, PRCD RD, vWD, Hips and Elbows and eyes examined by a vet.

Temperament –. We LOVE our mALD temperaments! They make perfect family pets because they are intelligent, friendly, social, gentle, intuitive and loving. They are eager to please and are amazing guide dogs, therapy dogs and support dogs.
